Booking and Payment

  • All public classes, private sessions, and group experiences must be booked in advance through our online booking system.
  • Payment is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your date, time, instructor, equipment, and/or boat experience.
  • Private group bookings are reserved specifically for your group, so we recommend confirming your guest count and details before booking.

Private Group Cancellation Policy

  • For private group experiences, including beach yoga, beach Pilates, stand up paddleboard yoga or Pilates, boat cruise experiences, and celebration packages, refund requests must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled event.
  • If a cancellation request is made at least 7 days before the event, we are happy to issue a refund.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable because your date, instructor, equipment, and planning time have already been reserved for your group.

Public Stand Up Paddleboard Class Cancellation Policy

  • Our late cancel policy applies to all public stand up paddleboard yoga and Pilates classes.
  • If you cancel outside of the cancellation window, your class credit will be forfeited and a $15 late cancel fee will be charged.
  • If you do not show up for class, your class credit will be forfeited and a $15 no-show fee will be charged.
  • There are no refunds for late cancellations or no-shows.

Waiver Requirement

  • All guests are required to complete and sign a waiver before participating in any Sandbar Yoga and Pilates experience.
  • This includes public classes, private beach sessions, stand up paddleboard yoga or Pilates, boat experiences, and celebration packages. Waivers must be completed before the start of the session. Guests who have not completed a waiver will not be able to participate.
  • For private group bookings, the person booking the experience is responsible for making sure all guests complete the required waiver before the event.

Weather Policy

  • Because our experiences take place outdoors and on the water, weather and water conditions are always taken seriously.
  • If Sandbar Yoga and Pilates determines that weather, wind, storms, tides, or water conditions are unsafe, we will contact you with options to reschedule.
  • For private group bookings, we will make every effort to find a new date or time that works for your group if weather requires us to reschedule.
  • Weather-related decisions are made with safety in mind and may not always be based only on rain. Wind, water conditions, lightning, storms, heat, and visibility may also affect whether an experience can safely take place.

Safety Policy

  • Safety is our priority. Participants are expected to follow all instructor and/or captain guidance during beach, board, and boat experiences.
  • For stand up paddleboard classes, participants should be comfortable in and around the water. Life jackets and safety expectations will be reviewed as needed.
  • Sandbar Yoga and Pilates reserves the right to modify, delay, relocate, or cancel an experience if conditions are unsafe.

Arrival Policy

  • Please arrive on time and ready for your scheduled experience. Public classes and private group experiences may begin promptly at the scheduled time.
  • For boat and paddleboard experiences, late arrivals may shorten the experience due to launch times, tides, weather windows, and scheduling.

Group Size Policy

  • Each experience has a maximum group size based on location, equipment, safety, and instructor capacity.
  • Beach Yoga or Pilates: up to 15 guests
  • Private SUP Yoga or Paddleboard Pilates: up to 10 guests
  • Boat Cruise + Beach Yoga or Pilates: up to 6 guests
  • Please contact us to accommodate a larger group.
  • If your group size changes after booking, please contact us as soon as possible so we can confirm whether we can accommodate the updated number.

Location Policy

  • Private beach, board, and boat experiences may take place at approved beaches, waterfront homes, rental properties, launch locations, or other agreed-upon outdoor spaces.
  • Some locations may require appropriate access, parking, permission, or additional planning. If a location is not suitable or safe, we may recommend an alternate location.

Alcohol Policy

  • Sandbar Yoga and Pilates experiences are designed to feel relaxed, low-key, and wellness-focused.
  • For safety reasons, alcohol should not be consumed before or during stand up paddleboard classes or boat experiences. For beach-based celebrations, alcohol may be enjoyed separately from the movement portion of the event, depending on the location and local rules.

Photos and Media

Some private experiences may include casual photos, especially celebration packages. Photos are intended to capture the experience in a natural, relaxed way.

What to Bring

  • We recommend bringing water, sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing you can move in.
  • For paddleboard classes, wear swimwear or quick-dry clothing that can get wet. For beach classes, expect sand, sun, and a relaxed outdoor environment.

Experience Expectations

  • Sandbar Yoga and Pilates is not a loud party service. Our experiences are designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and memorable.
  • Classes can be gentle, playful, grounding, or energizing depending on your group, but the overall experience is meant to feel calm, connected, and easygoing.
  • You do not need prior yoga, Pilates, or paddleboard experience to join. Our goal is to help your group feel comfortable, cared for, and present by the water.
